Sunday Morning Hospitality

Coffee and Donuts are served in the Father Hussey Hall on the Middle Turnpike Campus after all Masses the first weekend of every month between September and June.  Volunteers either set up, pick-up the order, or serve after Sunday Masses.  It’s a great way to serve the parish and to meet and socialize with parishioners.

Greeters and Ushers are the first contact for parishioners and guests as they come to our parish for Mass.  In this ministry you are the "first face" of the parish and are an integral part of our endeavors to welcome, retain and increase our congregation.

Greeters and ushers have two complimentary roles.

Greeters meet and welcome everyone entering the church for Mass or other church-held activity, guide newcomers as needed, and are available to assist with Usher activities if necessary.

Ushers assist with seating when necessary, assure that there are people to carry the Gifts of Bread and Wine to the Altar, gather and secure offerings from collections boxes at entryways, pass baskets to collect donations for special occasions, distribute bulletins, and assist with emergencies.

Before Mass, two greeters welcome people at the entrance doors.  At conclusion of Mass, Ushers distribute bulletins as the congregation exits the church.
