Liturgy Committee

Liturgy is the work of the Church when we come together as a group offering prayer and worship of God. Volunteers to this committee assist in planning and setting up special liturgies of the church.

The committee meets every other month to plan liturgies with the pastor and others, and assist in a number of events, including Holy Week services, Mass of Remembrance and some outdoor processions on Palm Sunday and Corpus Christi Sunday.

Sometimes help is needed to set up the church or other space for a liturgical event like the Living Rosary or Lenten Prayer Service.  Other assistance is being present during some liturgies to guide people as needed or hand out programs, such as the May Crowning of Mary.

Anyone with an appreciation for the beauty of rituals in the church will enjoy learning about the devotions and prayer experiences we share in Catholic liturgical worship.
